Help The Trujillos - Palisades Fire Took Their Home

I'm here hoping to facilitate a fundraising effort for my only sibling, my sister Lori. Her beautiful, fun, and close-knit family (her husband, teenage son, teenage daughter, and 2 fur babies) lost their home, and everything in it, on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, in the Palisades Fire. An entire life, all the kids have ever known, reduced to ash and rubble. Life was normal just a few days ago.

There are SO MANY families. Entire neighborhoods...just gone. This is just one family affected, but...it's my family. And I'm hoping to recruit as much help as I can for them as they face down some of these more immediate/short term financial challenges.

My sister LOVES Malibu. When she left home to go to college at Pepperdine University, she loved it so much she stayed for 2 more degrees. And then she started a family there. I know she's going to want to stay there, even after all of this, and do what she can to help her family and community thrive again.

For obvious reasons, there can be a lack of sympathy for residents of Malibu, but this is just a regular family. They're not celebrities - they're just a good, fun-loving, sun-loving, adventurous, caring family that needs a little help right now.
