Help Lorraine beat Ovarian Cancer!

Hi everyone, my name is Michael Slaven. I am writing this to ask for your help. In the past two weeks my mums’ life has been turned upside down; diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has just had extensive surgery and will soon undergo 6 -12 months of chemotherapy. My mum is the most incredible person I know; gentle, caring and always putting the needs of others before her own. She is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience of helping children and adolescents in times of need. She is currently working at St Joseph Nudgee College as their School Psychologist (with Kobe, her therapy dog) and before that she worked for Catholic Education in Brisbane and Cairns. She has helped so many people throughout her life and now in her time of need I ask for people to help her with this struggle. So far her out of pocket medical expenses for her surgery is over $10,000 and more expenses with chemo and she won’t be able to work for at least 6 months. I know it’s Christmas and lots of people are doing it tough, but I would be so grateful for anything no matter how small. Thank you!
