Help Lorraine Shine at BADA in London

Hello to you!

My name is Lorraine Victoria Kanyike, and if you don't know my name now, I promise, you definitely will soon!

I am an actor and theatre artist hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. I have loved entertaining my entire life, and decided to make it my career after I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2020! Since then, I have worked professionally all over the Northeast, and this summer, I am embarking on another exciting journey: I have recently been accepted to the British American Drama Academy's Black British Theatre and Performance Program in London this summer!

This exciting, one month course provides an intensive look at Black British Theatre. Weaving in texts by prominent Black British playwrights and featuring trips to various shows around London, I could not imagine a better way to spend my summer! I am truly honored to have been accepted to this remarkable program.

To make it to London this summer, I am going to need your help. Any donation I receive will go directly to costs of the program, transportation, food, and lodging for the month I'm in London! At this current moment, I am looking to raise $5,000 to secure my place in the program, provide transportation to, from, and around England, and meal expenses. I greatly appreciate all of your support!
