Help Lost and Found Farm replace stolen beehives!
Donation protected
On the evening of July 17th, or early morning of July 18th we had 2 of our community beehives stolen. We have an apiary, group of beehives, and also have community hives on neighbors farms so their gardens and fruit trees can be well pollinated. By doing so, their yields are substantially increased and they share in the honey harvest. No bees=no food. We believe this theft was orchestrated by a local beekeeper due to the level of knowledge and skill that were needed to take 2 full hives. We hope they come forward and return our property. We also know that this is unlikely to happen. Our hope is to replace the hives, equipment and bees so that our mission can continue. We will be implementing safety measures to ensure the future safety, health and well-being of our hives. New locked fencing, cameras and an aggressive T-rex are part of our plans, if we can locate one, lol. Please donate if you can and share our story.
Any additional funds raised above our goal will be used to purchase educational materials, additional suits, and more hives to expand our community education for kids and adults.
