Help Lotecia Beat Stage 3 Breast Cancer

My cousin Lotecia was 24 years old when she discovered the lump in her breast, January 2021, the same month, she found that she was pregnant with her baby boy, Tristan.

The lump grew over the nine months as she progressed through her pregnancy - few interventions could be taken while she was with child, so this lump grew rapidly. Finally, in November 2021, she was officially diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer two months after giving birth to her son. This last year has been beyond words; expressing how emotional and difficult it has been for her is something I can't begin to do. That is why I'm launching this fundraiser so we can show her that she's in our hearts and minds.

As a Nurse, she has dedicated this early part of her life to saving lives and supporting strangers in their darkest moments, and now she needs that very same love and compassion. I hope you can help her through such a difficult time. Thank you for reading this.

Lotecia is in Jamaica and needs these funds to pay for her cancer treatments, medication, and lost income.

Surgery on June 8th - 300,000 JMD (£2000)

Double mastectomy with reconstruction

This is the largest single expense and will need to be paid soon.

CT scans post-chemo and after each treatment - 97,000 JMD (£500)

Chemotherapy drugs/treatment - 250,000 JMD (£1280)

This may be higher or lower depending on how the surgery goes.
