Help Louisville Juniors Rowing Reach New Waters! ‍♂️ 

The Louisville Juniors Rowing Boosters (LJRB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Louisville Rowing Club Juniors (LRC Juniors)—a growing program that provides high school athletes in  Louisville and Southern Indiana the opportunity to learn, compete, and thrive through the sport of rowing. 

Our junior rowers are dedicated, hardworking athletes, but they face a major challenge: outdated and borrowed boats that limit their ability to train and compete effectively. With your help, we can raise the funds needed to purchase a newer, used racing shell—giving our team the resources they deserve to excel in competitions and reach their full potential.

Why Your Support Matters 

Right now, our team is using loaned boats that have seen better days. While our athletes train tirelessly on the water, their equipment is holding them back from reaching the next level of competition. 

By donating, you will help us: 

✔ Upgrade to a newer, used racing shell—giving our athletes a boat that matches their skill and determination. 

✔ Improve safety and performance—ensuring a more stable and rewarding rowing experience. 

✔ Expand opportunities for more young rowers—allowing us to accommodate a growing team and introduce more athletes to the sport. 

Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing this much-needed boat, ensuring that more young athletes can compete at their best and experience the lifelong benefits of rowing.

About the Team & their Mission 

The Louisville Rowing Club Juniors is committed to providing a safe, fun, and competitive environment where high school athletes can: 

✅ Learn the sport of rowing and develop lifelong skills. 

✅ Build lasting friendships and strong teamwork. 

✅ Reach their full athletic and personal potential—both on and off the water. 

LRC Juniors vision for the future: 

Expand to five squads—Varsity Women, Varsity Men, Novice Women, Novice Men, and a Middle School Recreational Team. 

Compete at Youth Nationals and help athletes continue their rowing journey at the collegiate level. 

Develop a team culture built on poise, sportsmanship, and teamwork. 

At LRC Juniors, the athletes follow the TIGER Model, which guides every practice and race: 

Togetherness – Rowing is about unity and teamwork, both on and off the water. 

Intent – Every stroke counts; we train with focus and purpose. 

Growth – Athletes develop resilience, strength, and leadership through challenges.

Every Seat Matters – Success is a shared effort, from rowers to coxswains to coaches.
