Help Lovely and Dapper Desserts Replace Stolen Truck

We are Emily and Drew, the owners of the small mobile cake shop Lovely and Dapper Desserts. We have run our small business for the last three years in and around the Seattle area, selling our small personal cakes at farmers markets, festivals, and catering.

On Saturday 10/26 our work vehicle, a 2006 Chevy Tahoe, was stolen right out of our West Seattle driveway. We had unloaded it, put the steering wheel lock on, and locked the doors at about 9pm and the next morning when we went to drive it, it was gone.

We bought this car last April so that we could grow and expand our small business. We needed a vehicle with more space to be able to do bigger markets where we could sell more cake.

We are going into our busiest season with The Seattle Christmas Market less than two weeks away. Our truck is necessary so that we can transport 3-6 coolers full of cake as well as supplies and our family to and from the market. This past summer we had also bought brand new all-weather tires for the truck to help us in case of ice or snow during The Seattle Christmas Market.
