Lovely's Dream to Heal the Community thru Nursing

Being a Registered Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist for over 15 years has garnered great experience and exposure, which will bolster my ability to serve as a nurse. Through my 15 years of dedication, the largest reward has been the ability to advocate and care for individuals while supporting them through health and illness. It has always been my dream to leverage my existing experiences for the betterment of the community. My passion for helping the underprivileged is aligned with my career as a medical professional.

I am the Founder of From Our Hearts Chicago (FOHC), A nonprofit organization whose central objective is to provide food and nourish the homeless within Chicago and surrounding suburbs. In addition, FOHC regularly organizes events allowing volunteers to engage with the purpose of enhancing the health and hygiene of the homeless community. As one of the key stakeholders of this nonprofit, I take great pride in the investments we make to improve the quality of life for those in need. The unique opportunity to work closely with vulnerable communities in Chicago over the years has strengthened my passion for the care of the disadvantaged. Homelessness is a major socio-economic issue affecting thousands throughout many communities. Ultimately, my educational advancement will benefit the entire social domain within my community and others in need.

I believe that all people in society are important and that there needs to be adequate systems and structures that can cater to the needs of the less fortunate. My objective is to foster strong social bonds, affect societal progress and help individuals overcome the many issues that undermine their quality of life. Further education is vital for the next step of my journey to become A proficient Registered Nurse. I will graduate with an (RN) degree from Rasmussen University, which I have been enrolled in since last October 2020 with a current GPA of 4.0. With great enthusiasm, I am working towards the outstanding distinction to equip myself with the skills and knowledge to be known throughout the community as an expert that can be relied upon. I am to complete my undergraduate program by September 2022. After my undergraduate program, my educational journey will feature my enrollment for the Bridge to BSN. Funding is instrumental in my educational journey to cover tuition fees and other financial duties associated with pursuing training and tertiary education. With your assistance, I will be closer to my goal of returning the act of kindness by giving back to those less fortunate.
