Help Low Income Children With School Supplies

Hi,

Our names are Thi Chaplin and Lilah Brady. We are both going into 8th grade this fall. This summer we are partnering with Cradles to Crayons to help low income children right here in Chicago. We will be making backpacks filled with school supplies for low income children so that they go to school with confidence and new supplies in the fall.

These children in Chicago will be going to school this fall without new school supplies because unfortunately financial setbacks have become a major issue for the families we are helping. We would like to make their back to school experience better, more enjoyable, and help both them and their parents by sending their kids to school with new supplies so they can save their money for other purposes like clothing, food, shelter, and more.

We would really appreciate it if you could donate money to help and support us to buy backpacks and fill in addition to new, fun, and high quality school supplies. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to send 200 kids to school with a new backpack filled with school supplies. Any extra money we raise will be used to purchase additional school supplies and/or donated to Cradles to Crayons. Donating just $22 can help purchase one backpack filled with school supplies and send one kid to school with confidence and dignity.
