Help Lt. Milam Rebuild After Devastating Loss

Greetings,

I am creating this for a co-worker at the Kennesaw State University Police Department.

Lieutenant Robert Milam, who is a 20-year-plus veteran of our department, suffered a catastrophic loss on December 5th. His family residence caught fire and was destroyed. Everything that he and his family own was lost when this occurred. Lieutenant Milam suffered severe burns getting his family out of the house. He was rushed via ambulance to a burn center and will have to undergo surgeries and work on his recovery. Lieutenant Milam and his family face a long road in this recovery, and as you can imagine, this will be a very stressful time for them financially.

Lieutenant Milam has served his community for over two decades and would give anyone the shirt off his back. For this to happen at any time would be difficult, but during this time of year, it only makes things harder.

Lieutenant Milam has dedicated his career to helping those in need and serving his community, and now he needs your help. The loss of his family home, all of their belongings, and the medical bills will be overwhelming, but with love and support from the local community, we can help alleviate the financial burden that his family will be facing.
