Help Luca Fight Against His Mystery Diagnosis!

Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to you all on behalf of Luca, our brave little fighter who has been battling a mystery illness that has been causing cytopenia, extreme inflammation, and an enlarged liver and spleen, just to name a few. The past 6+ weeks have been a rollercoaster journey for Luca and his family as they navigate through numerous hospital visits and tests to determine the underlying cause of these problems.
Luca has been in and out of the hospital, undergoing various procedures and tests while doctors work to pinpoint the diagnosis. Multiple bone marrow biopsies, a skin biopsy, genetic testing, countless specialty blood tests, numerous CT scans and ultrasounds, a PET scan, and a brain MRI have yet to find the underlying cause. Luca is being followed closely by the incredible hematology oncology team at Primary Children's Hospital and doctors from all over the country are putting their heads together to share thoughts and ideas about this puzzling picture.
With all the uncertainty in the process this has been not only physically demanding but also emotionally draining for Luca's family. The financial burden of medical bills, ongoing testing, and the inability to work due to Luca's many inpatient stays has placed a significant strain on the family's finances.
We are reaching out to our community, friends, and compassionate strangers to come together and support Luca and his family during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will go towards covering medical expenses, including hospital bills, medications, specialized treatments, and any necessary support services.
