Help Lucia Get Home to Slovakia via Air Ambulance

Hi, my name is Cherish and I am raising funding to send my best friend, Lucia, back home to Slovakia from Dallas via Air Ambulance, so that she can be back with her family and receive better medical support than she can here in the U.S.

Lucia, on the night of her birthday at the age of 29, collapsed and went into cardiac arrest causing her heart to stop and oxygen to stop flowing to her brain. This lack of oxygen resulted in severe brain damage and has left Lucia in a vegetative state. Lucia is strong and has been fighting for the last 3 months. She has come out from a coma, and out of the ICU after 2 1/2 months, but unfortunately the doctors feel that she will remain in a vegetative state as too much damage has occurred. Lucia has now been moved to a nursing home, unfortunately, due to lack of her insurance, the nursing home hasn’t been the best place for her care and negligence has already occurred.

All of Lucia’s family resides in Slovakia, and the family and I would like to be able to send her home to receive the proper love, care, and support she deserves. This woman is an angel, has a heart of gold, and always been a giver to anyone no matter the situation. Now, it’s my turn to help her in any way possible to send her home to family, as that is what I know deep down she would want. Due to her medical state and condition, this is the only way we can get her back home as she requires a full medical team with her.
