Hi! My name is Lucía. I´m a 22 year old singer from Veracruz, México. I have been singing for the past 20 years. Recently I became the winner of one of the most important jazz vocal competitions: The Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. After that I recorded my very first jazz album, that is about to come out next year. My next step is moving to NYC so I can be more involved in the musical scene and work as much as possible. Because of the currency exchange, it's hard for Mexicans to be able to afford living in a city like New York, so I´ m making this fund raiser to help me pay for my moving and get settled in the city.
