Help Lucian recover from Top Surgery

Hello! My name is Lucian. I am a transgender man. I am excitedly raising funds for my Top Surgery Recovery.

I just got my official date for my chest masculinization surgery which will be February 23rd. I will need help with my funds for recovery as I will be unable to work for a few weeks after surgery. I will need help with paying my rent for the following month (March) as well as help with a few bills that will be due at that time. I also am hoping to use some of the funds to pay for groceries, vitamins that will help with recovery, and some items that I will need to assist with my recovery.

This surgery is a dream come true for me. I began my transition in May of 2021, however I have always felt incongruent with my gender throughout my entire life. Since starting testosterone and beginning to live my life as a man, I have felt such an increased sense of peace in my life and significant improvement in my mental health.

I have been using chest binders for some time now, however they have impacted my life in several significant ways. I don't feel comfortable leaving my home without my chest being bound. I cannot exercise while wearing a chest binder as it impacts my ability to breathe properly. I notice pain in my ribs from using chest binders. Going to the beach and enjoying the sun as my authentic self had proven extremely painful emotionally for me because of my chest.

I am so excited to finally be one step closer to being able to live my life as authentically as I have always been meant to. I am deeply grateful that this procedure will always alleviate a large piece of my dysphoria and complications from wearing a chest binder.

Update: Thank you all so much for the donations so far! I have found some scar recovery cream, and silicone scar sheets, and some other item's to help with recovery so I am going to go ahead and update the total goal. Again thank you all so much!
