Help Lucky Overcome Her Cancer Diagnosis

Lucky is a 7-year-old "kitten" living in Iowa. She was rescued from a shelter by her new mother in mid-2022, almost 3 years ago. Before Lucky came to us, she was declawed and abused, but for the past few years, she's been living the best life possible. She's the sweetest cat anyone has ever met, loves to cuddle, ram her head into ours, eat a ton of food, and play with strings.

Lucky has just been diagnosed with cancer in March of '25, after the vet biopsied a benign-seeming growth in her ear, which has been bothering her for a while now. The biopsy itself was quite expensive, and there may very well be more large bills to come, depending on the route that the veterinarians recommend. We are unsure what the future holds for Lucky, the world's best cat, but we do know that we will do what is best for her and make her remaining life as beautiful as possible. If she is done fighting, we will not make her keep going, but we want to give her a chance as she still seems happy and normal.

As both of us (her adopted parents) are younger students, we cannot afford the bills that have been piling up, and we humbly ask for any help possible. Funds will be used strictly for expenses directly related to Lucky's cancer diagnosis, including her previous biopsy, any future mass removal procedures, radiation, etc. I will be starting a website to document Lucky's journey at luckykitten.org.
