Help Lucy Fight Rare Form of Breast Cancer
Donation protected
As you all know, I was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer called Triple Negative Metaplastic in November of 21. Only 1% of women get this type and not a lot of research is known about it.
I have been through 6 weeks of chemo that didn’t work and most recently a right breast mastectomy. Once I’m healed from that I will be doing more rounds of chemo. I have been on leave from my job as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant at our local Baptist Health-Hardin Urgent Care… a job I love, and coworkers that I miss desperately. Recently, my PTO had run out, my husband keeps getting laid off due to parts shortages and I’m struggling to pay my bills on top of medical bills. I am not one to ask for help. Because, I’ve always gotten through life’s struggles one way out the other. But, dealing with cancer has totally put me out of the game.
