Help Lucy Rosales fight cancer

Donation protected
Yesterday, February 19th, 2024, what began as simple back pain in November was confirmed to be aggressive stomach cancer for my aunt, Lucy Rosales.

Facing a grim prognosis, Lucy has begun a fierce battle against cancer. Today, February 20th, Lucy has already received a blood transfusion and is scheduled to begin chemotherapy at MD Anderson on Monday.

As many of you know, Lucy is a 56-year-old mother of two boys - Gili and Tony - and has been married to the love of her life, Gil, for 32 years. She is a graduate of Diboll High School and is a school secretary in Diboll ISD. She has been a helper and supporter of the East Texas community for decades. I remember her helping relatives, family friends, and fellow church members with various paperwork and other matters when she was still in school. Anyone who knows Lucy will tell you what a sweet and caring person she is. Lucy has been there for many of us in our time of need. Let’s be there for her in her time of need.

Lucy believes in God and in the power of prayer. As God’s Word lights her path, her family are determined to lighten the burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis and so we request your prayers and help. Lucy faces multiple rounds of chemotherapy, including extended stays in Houston. Our hope is to alleviate the financial burdens that are to come so that Lucy and her boys can devote 100% of their focus to this fight.

Please donate to this fund and share with other family and community members to help cover medical, travel, and living expenses for Lucy’s fight against cancer. And more importantly, please pray hard for healing for Lucy. Cancer is no match for our faith.

Thank you,

Chely Reyes and family
