Help Luke Quandt Get Through Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
As you may know, my close friend and colleague Luke Quandt was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in October after struggling for over a year to get a proper diagnosis (ie, GET A COLONOSCOPY). Colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the US, but Luke is fighting. After two surgeries and six chemotherapy treatments, he is halfway done with this initial round of treatment, and scans/tests in June or July will determine if the process has worked or if more treatment is needed.
The process hasn't been easy on Luke, and the side effects of chemo are harsh, so Luke hasn't been able to focus on finding his next project for over a year and will unlikely start until he can get the all-clear sign after chemo ends.
We've all heard the stories, and in our business, we've told many stories of people who are one illness or accident away from financial burden. Unfortunately, that burden is starting to take a toll with insurance, medical costs, and travel to and from chemo and other medical procedures. We hope to raise $70,000 to help mitigate the financial burden on Luke and his support group at home.
Luke is eternally grateful and is happy to discuss his care and the importance of early cancer detection.
