Help Luna get surgery for her head fracture

Hi I’m Jasmine, and this is my cat Luna. She suffered from a dog attack on the night of 9/27 and was rushed to the ER. The official diagnosis is a bite wound to the face with maxillary fractures. There’s too much swelling to see the fractures clearly on the X-ray but it shows fractures of the bones of her nasal sinuses and upper right face/ jaw. The doctors aren’t sure if any of her teeth were damaged as well. And we aren’t sure if she already lost function of her eye since there’s too much blood. Her primary doctor will take a look this Saturday 9/30 and will recommend treatment for her eye. The ER doctor has referred me to a clinic with a dentist that can take better X-rays or an MRI to see the fractures and to see if any of her teeth are damaged. She’ll likely need surgery for the fractures to heal properly and to prevent dental issues later on.

I’ve unfortunately maxed my cards out to pay just the ER bill for one overnight and morning stay. And I would greatly appreciate any donations you can make!! I want to make sure I can afford all the treatment necessary for Lunas recovery. This has been a traumatic event for us all and we just want Luna to be able to recover fully and have a high quality of life after this. We aren’t sure how much everything will cost with surgery, but this is a start. I will be updating everyone here and on my social media accounts.

Luna really means the world to me and has changed my life since I got her almost two years ago. I’d do anything for her and will continue to do so.
