Support 11 Year Old, Luna Mays Lemonade for Climate Change
Donation protected
Luna Mays Lemonade is an environmental initiative created by 11 year old conservationist Luna May!
For every lemonade sold, ONE TREE will be planted to help support reforestation efforts and combat climate change! To further environmental efforts, all produce and cane sugar used for Luna Mays Lemonade are sourced from local farmers located right here in the Sunshine State! Wish Farms in Plant City is already on board!
That's not all!
Luna Mays Lemonade is a 100% Zero Food Waste operation! Everything from juice to rind is used or repurposed! All fruit byproduct produced from our lemonade will be made into compost and used in our community compost bins, available for use at any of our Lemonade Stands! Check out some of the delicious flavors Luna May has come up with! Our Flavors
BUT WAIT...
THERE'S MORE!
When you purchase a lemonade from one of our stands/trucks, you have the opportunity to plant a seed from the very lemon used to create your lemonade! We have a compost reservoir on the back of our truck next to our community egg carton receptacle where folks can come drop off their used egg cartons for starter pods specifically for our lemon seed planting initiative.
The idea is you come to the lemonade stand for a drink, we give you the seed, you go around the back of the truck, grab a egg pod from the egg carton receptacle, scoop a bit of our Lemonade compost, plant your seed, and enjoy your new tree! If you choose to leave your lemon seed with us, rest assured it will still be planted!
In addition to her no waste efforts, Luna is an 11 year old girl with a strong love of all things self care, so all citrus rinds used for the lemonade will be dehydrated and used for additional products such as potpourri and self care items like sugar scrubs and lip balms made from natural beeswax and cane sugar provided by local farmers and beekeepers. Truly ZERO waste!
To further community impact efforts, Luna Mays Lemonade pledges to donate a portion of proceeds from our seasonal Gourmet Lemonade flavors to a new cause every season. This summer we've pledged to help the endangered Giant Manta Ray through The Manta Trust; a UK based organization that coordinates global manta and devil ray research and conservation.
We would love the opportunity to get Luna's vision off the ground and make a really big delicious splash in the world of environmental conservation!
