Help LUNA open a peer support space for ND adults
Donation protected
LUNA Community Care is an online and in-person peer led support space for Neurodivergent adults. We are anti-carceral and anti-oppressive. There are few community spaces where Neurodivergent individuals can fully be ourselves and all of our services and programming will be led by folks with lived experience. Our mission is to create a disability justice led cooperative community for Neurodivergent peers to give and receive care, learn from one another, and experience joy!
We recently leased a space at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, where Neurodivergent adults can drop in and meet 1:1 with a peer support specialist, build a support system with other Neurodivergent adults, find mental health resources, explore wellness activities, engage in special interests, access online & in-person groups, and MORE! While we will have some events leading up to our grand opening, we plan to fully launch our peer programming and drop-in center in January 2022.
Your donations will specifically help fund activities, groups, and community events; provide stipends for peer support specialists; and allow members to receive discounted or free monthly memberships, groups, drop-in activities, and events. Your support will make it possible for all Neurodivergent adults to access our space and programming, no matter what they can contribute back to the community.
