Help Lupita Fulfill Her Mother's Dying Wish
Donation protected
My name is Carina Laguzzi and I have known Guadalupe "Lupita" Reyes for over a decade. In that time, she has helped me with my children. She was first their nanny and then a babysitter and always a part of our family. Lupita is from Peru and came here to build a family with her husband. They have four beautiful children together until his untimely death to COVID a few years ago. Now tragedy has struck her family again. Lupita's mother, Feliciana Pariona Mitma, is kind and generous. She was a skilled knitter and made beautiful items for my daughter over the years even though she had never even met her. She started feeling sick recently and had to be hospitalized at Temple University. While waiting for test results to confirm their suspicion of cancer, they found out that the severely aggressive B cell lymphoma she had had progressed throughout her body. She was only 69 years old. Her family lost her this past Thursday, September 5, 2024. The death was sudden and has been very shocking for the whole family. Feliciana is survived by her daughters and beloved grandchildren. Her dying wish was to be in Peru. As she was too sick to travel, Lupita and her sisters will have their mom cremated and then take her ashes back to Peru to fulfill their mother's dying wish. This goal will cover those expenses. No amount of contribution is too small and everything is very greatly appreciated for this wonderful family.
