Help Luxander's Family Flee Red State

Heya, I'm Luxander and I'm moving my family from Kansas to the PNW. I'm trans and my younger sibling is also trans and we'd love to be able to use public restrooms without worrying about being accosted and/or arrested since KS passed a bathroom ban! Our healthcare and other rights are also at risk in a red state.
Additionally, climate change makes Kansas difficult for my health as I can't regulate my body temperature normally, and I'd like to live in a place where I can reliably produce some of our own food as shortages continue to escalate due to increased heat and droughts.
Moving cross-country isn't cheap, to say the least! My partner and I make decent money between us and we will be saving up, but we want to make sure we have enough to cover everything. Here's a brief overview of the expenses and an estimate of costs:
- The moving truck itself as well as towing our vehicle ($2,000+)
- Deposit/pet deposit and first/possibly last month's rent in the PNW ($5,000+)
- Vet fees and meds for our cat so he can be chill for the 3 days of driving (he hates it) ($200+)
- Gas for the 2k mile drive uphill ($800+)
- 3 nights in hotels while we travel ($400+)
- My partner and I will both have to take time off work before/during/after the move itself
- We'll probably be eating more fast food than we'd like during this process, and I'll need to restock our kitchen with groceries when we get there ($400+)
- It would be great to get a quality standing/sitting desk for my work, since my desk isn't going to survive the move and I WFH ($500)
- My partner will be getting rid of his rusty vehicle before we move and will need to buy a new one (costs tbd)
- My partner is a skilled tradesman who will have to purchase some of his own power tools to work as a subcontractor as hourly work is unavailable ($XXXX)
