Help Lydia Fix her Vandalized Car

Hey everyone.

I hate to do this but I feel like I've run out of options at this point.

This is my story.

On May 5th, the police knocked on our door to inform us some neighbors saw kids throwing rocks at peoples houses and they noticed damage to my car like they were trying to smash my driver's front window. We wrote it off as some neighborhood kids causing trouble and tried to move on.

On May 7th, on the way to the store we found my passenger rear window actually smashed in. Nothing was stolen from my car but some personal effects were broken. I was starting to panic and thinking I was specifically being targeted or something. I don't know anyone around here so that couldn't be.

I started parking on the side of the house with the window that was smashed taped up with a bag and flush against the side of the house so nobody could get into the car.

This is the scary part. On May 9th. I got home from work at 5pm and ate dinner. Shortly after went to the store with Stef in her car. We were gone for maybe an hour and a half and when we came home we found my driver's rear window smashed in and my steering column and ignition torn apart and damaged beyond use. Someone has been watching our house waiting for us both to leave to make their move on my car.

It's come to my realization that my vehicle is one of the high theft easy to steal Kias unfortunately which has made it a target.

I've already made some steps to rectify the issue. I have an appointment with Kia to upgrade my security system and I got a steering wheel club.

However this brings us to my dilemma.

I can't afford to fix it. I live paycheck to paycheck. It's currently in the shop and I have a deductible to pay for and insurance for my rental that Geico has provided for me.

I hate to do this but I'm asking for your help. Anything you can give will go directly to repairs of my car, covering the costs of my rental and potentially a better security camera to monitor my vehicle to make sure this doesn't happen again.
