Help Lydia & Shiner After Home Lost

My best friend Lydia Whitlock's gorgeous sanctuary of an Altadena home was tragically lost on Wednesday, 1/8.

She was able to flee with her darling dog Shiner to safety with only a few important documents and some sentimental items from the place she had meticulously built and cared for these last many years. This loss is absolutely devastating.

As many of you know, Lydia is not only my best friend and my colleague in work and play, but she is the Godmother of my son, whom she has shared every piece of herself with in generosity and kindness. "Auntie Mouse Mouse" is likely the one who has also brought you beautiful home-cooked meals for like no reason at all, sent you care packages, contributed to your art and showed up at all times day and night knowing just what to say or do. She is truly a beautiful and magnificent friend to us all, and now would be the time (though she would never admit) that she might need a little bit of kindness in return.

Absolutely anything you can spare for Lyd and the boy doggie would be a loving relief for our dear friend.
