Help Lydia with Open Heart Surgery expenses.

Hello, my name is Don Dinwiddie, and I am starting this Go-Fund-Me Fund Raiser for my loving wife of 40 years, Lydia Dinwiddie. Lydia was raised in the Somerton and Gadsden, Arizona, area with the maiden

name of Lydia Del Val. We were married in 1982, and we had two sons that grew up to be EMT/Firefighter/Paramedics. Lydia has 4 Grandkids that love her very, very much. Lydia is an animal lover with 3 Dogs, 3 Cats, and 2 Turtles, even the wild birds around our home are her pets. Lydia makes friends wherever she goes. She is a very kindhearted person that gets along with just about everybody she meets. Well, as they say, this has been a hell of a year. In January 2022, Lydia went in for a routine Mammogram and found out she had Breast Cancer. She found it at a very early stage and went through surgery and radiation; she is now cancer-free. On February 2, 2022 (2-2-22), we lost our oldest Son, a 39-year-old Paramedic/Firefighter. In August 2022, Lydia went to the Emergency Room feeling sick and having stomach pains and found out she had to have emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder.

During the testing in search of the gallbladder issue, it was discovered she has an enlarged Aorta and a bad Aortic Heart Valve, and both will have to be urgently replaced; this is scheduled for the end of

November 2022. The open-heart surgery will be done out of town in Phoenix, Arizona. Lydia will be in the hospital for 7-10 days and then must stay close to the hospital for another week. (If everything goes

right) I am starting this fundraiser to help with travel, lodging, and medical expenses incurred with the surgery and recovery. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers.
