Help Lynda overcome cancer battle

Our beloved Lynda is fighting Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer.  Lynda underwent and successfully finished her first set of chemo treatments at the end of 2019 and into 2020. Although she received a clean bill of health, we did know that there was a good possibility that the cancer would return. Unfortunately, last September we received news that the cancer is back and wreaking havoc on her body.

Lynda is such a kind and loving person and we are so happy to call her our stepmom. She has an optimistic view on life and loves my dad and their beautiful dog Zoe more than anything. She loves spending time outside gardening, sewing, surfing the internet for awesome clothing sales, and enjoying a glass (or 3) of wine.

There have been some major complications since starting her second set of chemo, which has prevented her from being able to properly consume food, leaving her with little nutrients to fight off the spreading cancer. This has a lead to an emergency surgery that will help her get back on track to resume her chemo treatments. The surgery is not a cure and is something that will provide us more precious time with her. Unfortunately, this has already caused a financial strain and will continue because Lynda won’t be able to go back to work.

We are setting up this gofundme page in hopes of helping two people we love so very much. We want our step mom to be able to happily and comfortably enjoy her life. This money will help my dad and Lynda pay for the medical expenses that have accrued and to provide them with access to better healthcare.
