Help Lynette with her surgery

Hi everyone,

Most of you probably know my mom Lynette. We recently moved to Colorado from Washington state. This morning she was leaving for her first day of work here in Colorado, and unfortunately it got really cold overnight and a sheet of black ice covered the streets, driveways, and sidewalks. My mom slipped and fell down the stairs of our front porch and dislocated her ankle and broke her foot. A bone actually came through her ankle. Thankfully we were able to get her to the hospital safely. Shes definitely going to need surgery and won’t be able to work for awhile. With her just starting her new job, her new insurance hasn’t kicked in yet, which means she will have to pay for all of this out of pocket while not being able to work.

Anyone who knows my mom knows she has saved probably thousands of lives and would give the shirt off her own back to help anyone she could. I’ve seen it time and time again. And she hates asking for help in return. She would probably kill me for posting this.. but we’ve spent so much money on moving expenses, and settling into our new home already, and I know this is going to hurt her financially. Especially without insurance. It would be crazy for me to ask for strangers to pay the amount of money it will cost for her surgery and hospital bills. But if we can even just help her with the small stuff, I know it would mean so much. We’re going to do everything we can to help, but if you’re in a position where you’re able to help us, I know both my mom and I would be forever grateful.
