Help Lynn Bluder Fight Aggressive Breast Cancer

Donation protected
UPDATED 11/23/2021:

To everyone’s dismay, Lynn has received devastating news. The triple negative aggressive form of breast cancer she was diagnosed with and was treated for, starting 4/2020, has metastasized to her liver and pancreas and is Stage 4 and is terminal.

Lynn has had to pay for her own medical insurance and out-of-pocket expenses with limited funds. She was let go from the hospital she worked at as an RN, due to the chronic disabilities the two aggressive regiments of chemotherapy and radiation caused. Lynn permanently suffers with chronic central neuropathy and chronic vestibular issues (inner ear, vertigo, loss of balance) and she is in continued care with a Palliative doctor for her digestive issues.

Lynn is a fighter, a survivor, and has a positive attitude despite the pain and discomfort she endures daily. Even with this news, Lynn has a plan she will do what it takes to survive and beat the odds.  She will start Chemotherapy on 12/2/2021. We ask for each of you to pray for her, her strength both mentally and physically, and for God’s grace to heal her and perform a miracle.

We also ask, if you can donate any amount to relieve some of the financial stress Lynn faces, we would appreciate it so Lynn can concentrate on treatment, resting and healing. We thank each of you!

Lynn Bluder
is a 62-year-old single mom who has struggled yet survived by working for everything she has.

A divorced stay at home mom with two small children could’ve depended on the welfare system to take care of her two boys. Instead, she worked at McDonald’s and put herself through school while raising her children to become an RN.

For the past 11 years, she has work nights and weekends as an RN in a hospital in Springfield, MO to take care of others and provide for her sons and herself. On 4/1/2020 a mammogram discovered a lump in her breast and the biopsy diagnosed an aggressive rare form of breast cancer. Because the biopsy showed a very aggressive rare form of breast cancer the doctors wanted surgery done as soon as possible. Lynn underwent a lumpectomy on 4/9/2020 along with the removal of two lymph nodes.

Lynn’s last day of work was 5/10. She starts a strong aggressive form of chemotherapy 5/14/2020. They have already warned her that the side effects from the chemo will be severe. She will have to endure 4 and a half months of chemo which will deplete her immune system. She will be forced to stay home and not be able to work her job as a nurse. This fund raiser will help Lynn pay her medical bills and help support her financially.

Lynn requested light duty at work to continue to support herself, however; being in a healthcare environment with a compromised immune system she would be risking her life while trying to fight this battle. Her oncologist advised her that she would not be able to work.

We know everyone is struggling financially but any donation to give Lynn the chance to battle and God willing survive cancer without the risk of contracting COVID-19 would be very much appreciated.
