Help Support Lynne’s Recovery from Heart Surgery

An update for our donors: Lynne is still in the hospital but improving significantly. She has made it all the way back to rehab where she is regaining her strength to be able to go home. Her heart surgery is still in perfect condition and was not negatively affected by any complications. She still needs some more time in the hospital but she is working hard every day to get home as soon as possible.

In the beginning for June, Lynne went in for open heart surgery, but complications by other doctors has made a 3 week hospital stay go on for months. During the process of healing from open heart surgery and the required broken sternum, she is now battling sepsis and pneumonia, as a result of an esophageal tear. A perfect heart surgery became an almost fatal situation due to a series of mistakes. While she is getting stronger every day, there is a very long way to go. Her daughter Chelsea and son-in-law Chris have been with her, helping to navigate her care and encouraging her through this process. This GoFundMe is to help ease the financial burden of this prolonged hospital stay for Lynne and family.
