Help Mac Stay in the U.S. and Build a Future
In September 2023, Mac arrived in the United States under Haiti Humanitarian Parole program. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to build a life here. In just a few short months, he’s learned to drive, bought his own car, worked hard in construction, and is now faithfully serving on staff at our church. He’s our “boy” Mac, and if you know him, you know the light and joy he brings to every room.
From the beginning, we knew his visa might not be renewed, especially with the changes in the federal administration. But we never dreamed his current, valid visa would not be honored. On March 28, Mac received a deportation notice—his deadline to leave the country is April 25, 2025.
We’ve spent countless hours meeting with immigration attorneys, and we’re so thankful to say we’ve finally found the right one. She will be filing a work visa application immediately, which will not only allow Mac to remain here legally, but also set him on the path toward a green card.
This process is urgent. The immigration attorney has broken the journey into five key legal steps, each costing $2,500. On top of that, government filing fees total approximately $4,100. Our total fundraising goal is $16,600.
If you’ve met Mac, you already know how special he is. If you haven’t, trust us when we say he’s someone worth fighting for. He has poured so much into this community already—and we believe his story is just getting started.
Thank you for loving Mac with us. Every gift, every prayer, and every share of this campaign means the world.
With grateful hearts,
Ashley (& Mac)
