Help Macaela Get Gender Affirming Surgery

Macaela is an incredible community organizer and an all around amazing person. In March 2020 they started a food pantry out of their car and helped shepherd it into the all-encompassing community space that Astoria Food Pantry is today. They have the biggest heart and they are always striving to make the world a better place. They have helped so so many people and now they need some help back.

They have finally been approved for the gender affirming surgery they've been fighting all year to get. And while they are beyond excited the recovery time is long and with their Lupus we want to make sure they get all the rest they need.

Your contributions will go towards surgery costs not covered by insurance, rent, groceries, bills, and student loans; and whatever isn't used for those purposes will go directly into the food pantry.
