Help Mad Get Back on Track

We're raising funds for Mad Weber (Bottle Rocket) to help with medical and living expenses.

On Monday, February 5th Mad was in a motorcycle accident, where they broke their L3 and L4 vertebrae, sustained a concussion, and injured their left leg. While their injuries were quite serious, they could have been much worse if they had not been wearing their helmet.

They underwent a fasciotomy in their left leg for compartment syndrome on Wednesday, February 7th. The surgery went well (The surgeon said they were a superstar and had a lot of good pink tissue in there.) and they have a wound vac to help them heal.

Mad is facing a huge financial burden from medical expenses and needs our help to get back on track. They are not able to work for a few weeks, nor will they be able to play roller derby for a couple months, which is such a source of joy for them.

They have an amazing support system of friends, family, and teammates that they are such a bright light for. It’s our opportunity to return the favor.
