Help Maddie get her medical equipment!

Hi!!!

My name is Eva, and I am trying to raise money to help my best friend and her daughter afford medical equipment! Brittany and her daughter Maddie have been fighting for years to get a specialty wheelchair, medical bed, and other medical supplies and equipment!

Every time Brittany applies through insurance, they deny her any help! This has been denied since Maddie was born!!

Maddie was born with an extremely rare disability that doesn’t technically have a name that doctors can give Brittany!

But essentially Maddie was born with a duplicated arm on chromosome 11. The doctors say it is similar to CP.

Along side this chromosomal anomaly, Maddie also struggles with, hypogamaglobulinanemia, she has low igg with no immunity, vaccines do not take, and she requires weekly IGG infusions. She has epilepsy and has had a huge increase in seizures lately. Maddie is a restless sleeper since she’s been born and cannot be in a regular bed, she needs a medical bed to keep her safe! Safety beds cost over 10 grand alone and it was denied by insurance the same week it was ordered.

Brittany does the best she can carrying, and moving Maddie, but with Brittany having extreme health issues of her own, and Maddie getting bigger, Brittany is having trouble even moving her daughter!

She needs a specialty medical wheelchair to help alleviate the stress on both of them! Again, she has been trying to get help through insurance and they keep denying her ANY help! They won’t even give her home health care assistance!

Maddie suffers from Chronic lung disease and has had over a dozen hospital stays for pneumonia. She is in and out of the hospital all the time. Brittany works full time, she has adopted her niece to give her a better life, and she takes care of Maddie with so much love, but Brittany needs help. She has to miss work often when Maddie needs to go to the emergency room or is having health issues.

I know Brittany and Maddie both would be much more comfortable having the medical equipment and supplies they need! Brittany doesn’t ask for much from the insurance companies, and they will not offer any help. It’s time to take some of the burden off Brittany and help Maddie live a more comfortable life!
