Help Maddie Pay Medical Bills

Hey guys, my name is Izzy Bailey and I set this up for one of my best friends, Maddie Goss.  She attempted suicide about a month and a half ago, spent 3 days in a psych ward, and is now being billed a ridiculous amount of money; as is normal for the American health system.  She is a straight A student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and is putting herself through university and med school with no help from family.  She has her parents who aren't going to help at all, and has very little money left over from paying for school.  As of right now, she owes over $16,000.  We are trying to get in contact with her insurance company and get it lowered, but once we figure it out she may still owe up to $8,000.  All of this is due in 2 weeks on March 9, so you can see why she needs help.  Your help.  Please, every little bit counts.
