Help Maddy and Andrew Rebuild After Theft

Yesterday, Andrew’s ex-wife signed into his savings account and transferred all his checking and savings to her account. She then closed the savings account and blocked everyone. She left $1.00 in the checking account. She withdrew over $20K.

The police can’t do anything, and the bank says, 'Oops, we thought she was off the account.'

Her family is not cooperating with any efforts to get the money back to him.

They have no funds to pay rent, bills, utilities, or car payments.

Asking for some help while they sort through this and try to figure out if they can even get legal help to press charges.

Andrew is a disabled veteran and he received this money as his disability benefit from the VA. Andrew and Maddy are decent, hard working young people. They do not deserve this set back. Anything you can contribute will be a huge help for them. Times are tough for everyone.
