On July 5, 2024, Hurricane Beryl struck the small island of Carriacou, leaving behind a trail of destruction and despair. This beautiful island, known for its vibrant culture and resilient community, now faces unprecedented challenges in the aftermath of the storm. Homes have been destroyed, infrastructure damaged, and the livelihoods of many have been severely impacted.

Originally, my intention was to fundraise specifically to help rebuild my grandmother's home, which was severely damaged by the hurricane. However, after witnessing the widespread devastation and the many families in urgent need, I realized that the entire community requires our help. This is why I am reaching out to you today.
