Help Madi after losing her life partner

Hello everyone, I am writing to ask for assistance in supporting Madi Jehan with getting back on her feet after losing her life partner.

Ryan Mather and Madi Jehan met at Century High School and have built their lives together over the last decade. They have lived across multiple states with their two dogs, and were always seeking adventures through the outdoors. Anyone that knows them knew how strongly devoted and loving they were to each other.

Ryan was incredibly kind and honest. Quiet, but quick witted and hilarious around those that knew him best. He was also incredibly supportive of Madi, and they shared a dream of her becoming a life flight trauma nurse. For the last 3 years, Ryan has been supporting them both while Madi has been going to school, and on April 4th she was accepted into her nursing program. He was SO proud of her, and they had planned to celebrate in the coming weeks.

Tragedy struck on April 5th when Ryan had a snowboarding accident on Mount Hood that cost him his life. Losing her partner in such a tragic way, Madi is pushing herself to complete school and see their dream through, and become the responder who helps save lives when tragedy strikes.

The funds raised here will go towards Madi’s education, grief counseling & therapy, and her living accommodations. A portion will also be donated to Search & Rescue in Ryan’s name.
