Help Madison's Recovery in ICU from Car Accident

Sunday, July 16th, Madison Kelly's car was pushed off the road and into water by another driver speeding at 90 mph.

Madison is now in the ICU in critical condition.

Madison is a loving daughter, sister, friend, mentor, and so much more.

(*Update* July 24th 2023)

It has been a week since Madison's accident, and we wanted to provide an update. Madison has a traumatic brain injury; however, she is finally breathing on her own and was discharged from the ICU. Despite small improvements every day, Madison remains in a comatose state. Her care team has confirmed that this process will take many months or years to recover from. All your love and support is appreciated so that Madison can get the best care possible.

We sincerely thank everyone who has donated so far. We are hoping for a full recovery for Madison, and we appreciate the love, kindness, and care that she has been shown by her friends, family, loved ones, and the Alki Beach/West Seattle community.

It has been a month since Madison's accident. She has been discharged from the acute care unit and is now in in-patient rehab! She is slowly becoming more alert and aware of her situation. She is working very hard in physical, speech, and occupational therapy everyday. Although she has had improvements daily, she still has a long road ahead. Please continue to share Madison's story so she can get the support she needs and very much deserves! Thank you.
