Help Maggie & Jonny after Devastating Fire

This fundraiser has been created to help our friends Maggie & Jonny after they lost their home in a devastating fire in Mount Pleasant.

On the night of July 27, 2023, at about 8:30pm, a fire broke out in Maggie and Jonny's apartment building, on East 10th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. It took 50 firefighters until 4:30am to extinguish the fire. This fire was so intense that all the tenants in this building have unfortunately lost their homes.

Maggie, Jonny and their beloved cat Brutus have not only lost their home but also lost all of their belongings, as nothing has been salvageable from their apartment suite.

We are asking our community to help our friends in this tragic and difficult time.

The funds raised through this fundraising page will be able to help Maggie and Jonny with the costs of renting a new place and the purchase of all new items including furniture, clothes, shoes, electronics, food and pet supplies.

We are so very appreciative and grateful for any amount that you can donate.
