Help Maggie Moran Recover After Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Meagan Young, and I am raising funds on behalf of my mother, Maggie Moran. My mom recently lost her home and all of her possessions in the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena. Born and raised in Pasadena, she has called Altadena home for over 40 years, since I was six months old. My mom and late father raised me and my sister in this house, and we cannot believe it's gone. My mom is truly one of the most selfless and giving people, who cares deeply for her community, family and friends. She devoted over a decade of her life to taking care of my dad while he was sick. She worked in the office at St. Elizabeth's School in Altadena for close to 30 years, and knows so many of the families there. She is a devoted parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church. She is really one of those people who will stop and chat with you in the grocery store or one of the places around town, because she has taken the time to get to know you. She will check on people in the neighborhood and drop everything to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, or contribute delicious homemade food or desserts. She was enjoying retirement, crafting and decorating cards and cupcakes and taking her beloved rescue dog Honey on walks around the neighborhood. When she got the evacuation order she did not take much of anything, and has to start from scratch. Funds will be used to purchase basic necessities and help with housing options. Please consider donating and sharing for our wonderful mother Maggie. Anything will help and is truly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.
