Hello,

I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Maggie Mercadante, I am a 17 year old student at the Macomber Center and lifelong resident of Southborough.

I have been a member at the Macomber Center since I was 6 years old. The community has helped me grow in many ways, from my first moments in acting and music to now helping run the show. I am so grateful to the staff and the community for all the support they've shown me over the years.

Some of my proudest achievements include: President of my Youth Group, Model in Galleries Such as Arts Worcester and the Cambridge Art Association, Special Training in Dance, Acting and Voice, and Speaking at OUT MetroWests Annual Coming OUT Gay-la.

My most recent accomplishment was being selected as a State Finalist in the Miss Massachusetts Teen USA pageant to be held this spring. The pageant system is one of the premier state pageants in the United States and I am proud to have been selected from among the hundreds of applicants that were processed.

This kind of competition is an excellent experience. I am confident that I can do well, and that it will lead to many opportunities for my future. If I do become our state representative, I will represent the state and compete for the national title of MISS TEEN USA 2024!
