Support Maggie's Tornado Shelter for Daycare

Hi, I’m Maggie, and I own and operate Maggie’s Daycare. Maggie’s daycare is my pride and joy, which I run out of my own home located in Kentucky. I have been doing childcare for 28 years and I honestly couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life. Over the years I have had the privilege of caring for more than 400 children.

But as I’m sure everyone is aware, the weather has been pretty volatile over the last few years. With the National Weather Service declaring Kentucky part of what is now known as “Dixie Alley”, making sure I can provide the safest environment for all of my “littles” is of the utmost importance. So I’m here asking for your help. I am hoping to raise enough money to install a tornado shelter to ensure that in the event of a tornado, I can provide a safe place for all the children. A 6’ W x 10’ L x 8’H shelter is the size that I am needing your help with. After speaking with a tornado shelter company, I have been given a quote for $7000.

On behalf of all of my “littles” and their families, I am asking for your help. Please help me provide these babies with a safe place from the storm.
