Help Mahmoud and his family

On October 5, 2023, Mahmoud Zaqout had made his dream a reality when he opened his business "Kayan", specializing in marketing. This was a business venture meant to help Mahmoud and his team with building a sustainable future. They were capturing the beauty of life in Gaza through his camera lens or his drone. However, he was in for a big shock.

On October 7, 2023, the "war" on Gaza began. His dream was only lived out for two days before the building his office was in was bombed and destroyed. His dream then shifted into hoping this was a nightmare rather than reality. When his office was bombed, he also lost all of his equipment and his lifelong dream.

Today, Mahmoud lives in a state of fear. The only thing he is still holding onto is his dream and reestablishing what was destroyed without a care despite the constant bombardment and forced displacement that his family and others face. He hopes that in the future, after this all ends, that he will be able to rebuild what was lost and to relay the voices of the children, women, and elderly in Gaza to the world.

Our goal:

Help Mahmoud and his team who are currently suffering in horrible conditions, especially after losing everything they poured their effort and life savings into.

1. Rebuilding a "Kayan" office to help

2. Reacquiring the equipment they lost

3. Help Mahmoud and his family rebuild a new home and acquiring necessary items for survival
