Help Mahmoud family from the war !

Urgent humanitarian appeal: Help for the family of Mahmoud displaced from Gaza in the shadow of the war !

I am Asem Hamdouna and I am trying to help my aunt's family: Laila Mahdi, and I am now residing in Belgium, the father is stuck in the war in Gaza, the mother and the girls in Egypt, and the only son Mahmoud Mahdi in Qatar.

I write to you with heavy hearts and tearful eyes, as my aunt's family has endured the worst nightmare imaginable. My aunt's family, consisting of 8 people, escaped from Gaza during the ongoing war. Currently, half of the family is in Egypt, while the father remains trapped in Gaza, living in a tent under extremely poor health conditions.

The war left them with nothing. Their four-story home was completely destroyed, and their farm, which was their only source of income, was also obliterated. They lost everything: their home, their livelihood, and their sense of security. They lost their jobs, and their lives were turned upside down. After 200 days of struggling to survive, they managed to escape Gaza with $20,000, but this left them in a dire financial situation.

Now, they live in harsh and difficult conditions. The father, the head of the family, is living in a tent in Gaza under deteriorating health conditions, while the rest of the family in Egypt is struggling to meet the basic necessities of life. Their family is in a state of homelessness and extreme poverty, desperately in need of assistance to rebuild their lives.

My only cousin, a talented software engineer, dreamed of completing his master's degree in engineering. Unfortunately, the war separated us, and he is now stranded in Qatar since the beginning of the conflict, without residency or employment. He is living in very difficult financial conditions and cannot travel to join his family due to the high financial costs and accumulated debts during the war.

We appeal to your compassionate hearts to support us in this difficult ordeal. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us stand again and reclaim a part of our lives that has vanished. We need your support to secure housing for the family members in Egypt, provide healthcare for the father, and assist my cousin in stabilizing his situation and traveling to join us.

Our family lived a simple and humble life, filled with love and hope. The war took that life away from us, but we still believe in the goodness in people's hearts. We need your support to return to a dignified life, and we need your help to rebuild what the war has destroyed.
