Hi,My name is Mahmoud Husam Ahmed. I am a designer and photographer from Gaza. I am 21 years old. I study at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. Now I cannot complete my studies because the war.
My family and I live in tents. I spend most of my day trying to find food, fuel, or a safe, warm place. But no place is safe now. We hear the sounds of bombs approaching every day, and we fear that the Israeli army will expel us from our temporary shelter with the same cruelty as they expelled us from our home last October. We lost our home, and our neighborhood is in ruins.Even when the war ends, it is difficult to imagine what life in Gaza will look like in the future. Many of us are now starting to plan to leave Gaza to start new lives in other countries. I want to start a new life in a new country away from devastation and destruction
Please support this effort to evacuate my displaced family from Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
My father, Hossam Ahmed. My father is a teacher who has worked in Gaza for more than 28 years and still serves in shelters for displaced people in the Rafah area.
My beloved mother with a smile that can light up a room. She is also a skilled cook who makes very delicious dishes
My twin brothers Khaled and Walid. They have the kindest soul. This picture is in of our now destroyed house!
A picture of our house before and after the destruction in the Sheikh Radwan area, northwest of Gaza.
