Family expenses for Mahogany’s Wife & kids

This is hard…extremely hard to do and speak. Last November we received the worst news possible. My beautiful wife Mahogany was diagnosed with breast cancer. To hear those words spoken were devastating. I was crushed and determined to help Mahogany beat this. She was even more determined to kick cancers butt!

Together we can get through anything. Mahogany has been in and out of the hospital receiving chemo, radiation, treatment for blood clots and most recently COVID-19.

Since her diagnosis, we have managed to continue to keep our business afloat enough to continue to provide for our kids and meet Mahogany’s medical needs until just recently.

Prior to her being diagnosed with cancer, we ran a very successful medical billing company. We were thriving and we were able to help our community and give back. We helped people with food, clothes, housing, and we also sponsored kids in various sports.

We were blessed and we wanted to share our blessings. As our company grew, we were able to add a few employees. After Mahogany became ill, we discovered the unthinkable. A person that we considered family and our business partner, ran off with every dime we had. Not only is my wife fighting for her life, but we were also just robbed and left with nothing, literally.

Shortly after the financial blow, we received the most devastating news possible. My beautiful, smart, amazing, kind, loyal and courageous wife was not given much time left. The cancer has spread throughout her entire body. Even though the doctors have told her that she doesn’t have much time left, her faith remains strong. She is fighting and she’s still not ready to give up.

She is still fighting! Fighting to have more precious moments with our 4 children, fighting to provide endless memories for us, fighting to make sure that we are going to be ok.

We are not sure how much time we have left. She has lost a lot of weight and she is no longer able to walk. She was also recently placed on oxygen. As she’s fighting to stay with us, I also believe she’s fighting so hard because she is worried. She’s worried about the children, she’s worried about me and our family and I think most of all, she’s worried about the financial devastation.

Mahogany means the world to us. Her time with us is unknown, and I want to make sure that I can care for her and keep her comfortable. I am reaching out and asking for help. This is so hard to do, but I am left with no choice. I need to make sure that she receives all her medical needs and I need to make sure the children are taken care of as well. Due to Mahogany being so critical, I am unable to work currently and we had to close our business completely. I am her and the children’s caretaker 24/7.
