Help Maine Sea Salt Recover from this Storm.

Hi, my name is Steve Cook Owner and founder of Maine Sea Salt Company. We began our small salt works in 1998, the first salt works in Maine in 200 years. On December 18th the strongest Nor'Easter struck Down East Maine with gusting winds reaching 90 mph, the storm, damaged 70% of our solar salt evaporation houses, peeling back the Green House covers. Fortunately, the frames appear to be intact.
If we don't rebuild our business model will be impossible to continue. We have four employees whose jobs will be in question this spring. Our season is May-October, a short window to produce the Maine Sea Salt and inventory for the year.
The funding is for replacing the greenhouse covers and the labor to get it done.
Many will want to help, so cash is important, but volunteers are more important.
