Help Majd and his family in Gaza survive this war
Hi, I'm Jo, I've set up this fundraiser to help Majd and his family survive in and evacuate from the Gaza Strip as soon as possible.
In Majd's words:
'Hello, I am Majd, living in the Gaza Strip with my beautiful family. We never imagined that what is happening to us now would occur.
My family consists of 7 members:
My parents - 2 boys (one of whom is under 18) - 3 girls (two of whom are under 18).

\∆/ When we fled from our home:
The suffering increases every day;
waiting for long hours to get a meal and going daily long distances to get drinking water and regular water. We have run out of cooking gas.

Life in the tents is indescribable: insects, the cold of winter, and extreme heat make it unbearable. We don’t have enough bedding for my family; part of my siblings sleeps on the ground.

Our home, from which we fled, was destroyed. It took us 14 years of hard work to build our house. I don’t know how many times a person must start rebuilding their life from scratch.

Life is hard due to the blockade and the war. The prices of products are very high as if they were gold: the price of a kilo of tomatoes is $40, the price of potatoes is $50, and don’t get me started on the price of meat, which is $100 per kilo. This is unbelievable; we have no source of income, and my father is injured in the head due to shelling that happened nearby. We contracted hepatitis due to the lack of sufficient food resources for the human body.

My dream is to become a dentist and treat all the people of Gaza. Yes, this dream might fade away because of this war. Please help me continue my education abroad.

The cost of repairing the house is $20k-$30k.
The cost of travel for an adult is $5000 and for a child $7000.
$45k for my entire family (two members do not have IDs).
For education, the cost of the last academic term in Egypt is $1000, and starting university for studying medicine is $8000.
My family’s monthly expenses are at least $600-$800.
Traveling, learning, and supporting my family are my first goals that I will start working towards. Please, I hope for your assistance. Stand by my side.
In the end, I cannot write in exhaustive detail because I will write books about what happened to us, our people, and my family. I hope you can help me rebuild our home and escape the war until it is over, and I can learn again.
Please create a smile on my siblings' faces; this hope must return, but how? Yes, it will return with your help. Our beautiful home, we hope it returns, and my future dreams of becoming a doctor. I want to continue my journey in life; I don’t want the war to diminish my determination to move forward and learn in life.

This is $5000 per person to leave the Gaza Strip, $30, 000 for housing, $19, 500 for transfer fees and $3, 380 for this sites fees. Any excess will be used for necessities like food.
