Help Makaley in her time of need

Update 6/1/2023:

Makaley, her mom, and her grandma will be in Houston, Texas for another week or so before they can make the trip home to Tucson, Arizona with Makaley. They won't be able to transport Makaley home to Arizona until the doctors give her the "all clear". They are still monitoring her blood clot, which is the main concern for not being able to make the trip home yet, because it can become life threatening very quickly. We need to make sure Makaley is safe to travel and make the 17+ hour trip back home. We have medical transportation ready and waiting for the ok. So, please keep sending all your prayers and good vibes our way in hopes that they will be able to head home in a few days!

Makaley is still in really good spirits despite all the pain she is in. She really wants to make a video thanking all of you for your support and donations, but she is highly medicated to help keep the pain at bay, so she is pretty loopy and out of it. We will get a video for you all as soon as we can. ♡

Update 5/30/2023:

Makaley had surgery on her pelvic bone and had multiple pins put in place to help the bone fuse back together. They had to make incisions on both sides of her hip. Her collarbone and the breaks in her back are inoperable, so she will have to wear a back brace for about 6 to 8 weeks, maybe longer depending on how everything heals. She fractured T4, T5, T6, and T7 in her back. Her C4 in her neck is also fractured and will need a neck brace for 4 - 6 weeks. She has a fracture behind her nose and on her cheek bone as well. They also had to put 20 stitches in her head and behind her ear. She is missing a significant chunk behind her ear and might possibly need a skin graft for that.

She is in good spirits though and is alive and that's all that matters! We are so thankful that she is still here with us! We thank you all for all your love, support, and donations!!! It is greatly appreciated and means more than you know!

Hi, my name is Camaro and I am starting this gofundme account for my niece, Makaley, who was in a bad roll over accident on May 28th 2023. She broker her C4 in her neck, her collar bone, her pelvic bone, and her femur. She is currently awaiting surgery on her pelvic bone and will need to be in the ICU for at least 2 weeks. She definitely has a long road ahead of her for recovery and is going to need physical therapy. She recently moved to Texas from Arizona on May 4th, so she is far from her family and friends. She will be unable to work for a few months and might need to move back home for family to take care of her. All of this just recently happened, so I will be updating as I get more information. We don't know if she'll be staying in Texas or moving home to Arizona, but we just want to be prepared. I'm hoping we can all rally together and give her some ease with finances for the time being. She is such a smart, strong, kind, caring, and happy person and this is going to be a life changing event for her, so I want to be able to help her through this time of need.
